GLP-1 Medically Managed Weight Loss Program

For many good reasons, there is tremendous interest in GLP-1 injections such as semaglutide and tirzepatide, under brand names like Ozempic and Zepbound. At SpaVie, we are focused on both beauty and wellness, and believe they are both deeply connected. If you are considering these weight loss therapies, or other effective methods of weight loss, we want our Minneapolis medical spa to be part of your journey to achieve your ideal self.

We partner with Lilly Direct to prescribe the popular Zepbound GLP-1 and also offer compounded semaglutide (e.g. Ozempic) as an option as well. Good candidates for our program are within 50 pounds of their goal weight and under 70 years of age, with no history of liver disease, pancreatic cancer or disease, endocrine tumors, or thyroid cancer.

Our program of weekly GLP-1 medical weight loss injections along with the support you need for long-term success has been carefully designed with patient convenience and effectiveness in mind. The program includes a $99 consultation to ensure your candidacy, along with a $150 monthly check in where we will take your weight, provide diet counseling, review medication dosage, and ensure you are on track. You will pay the manufacturer directly for your Zepbound weight loss shots, which are delivered for free to your home. Don’t worry, we’ve thought of everything so your focus can be entirely on achieving your slimmer self!

Your Consultation

As a first step to enrolling in the program, you will complete a patient intake form at our office and have your height, weight, and body fat analysis recorded. We’ll also order basic labs for you to complete and provide details about what to expect when treatment begins. Once your lab results are received and you are determined to be a candidate for the program, we will submit your prescription to Lilly Direct and your Zepbound package will be sent to you once you set up billing and shipping options on the Lilly Direct website. We can also prescribe compounded semaglutide (e.g. Ozempic) as an option as well in cases where we feel that drug will be more effective for your weight loss goals.

We offer several of the most popular GLP-1 medications, including semaglutide (like Ozempic) and tirzepatide (like Zepbound). Your initial injection will be performed in our office, and will include an injection of vitamin B12 to help with energy levels. You will be sent home with all the supplies and information you need to perform injections safely at home.

Your At-Home Treatments

Semaglutide and tirzepatide are some of the most popular GLP-1 medications currently available. You will perform your weekly injections right at home, and we will renew your prescription each month during your check in appointment.

Your Follow-Up Visits

Each month, you’ll visit our office for a weigh in and to touch base about your progress. You will also receive a Vitamin B12 injection at the same time to boost your energy. As part of our weight loss support, we can provide exercise and diet counseling as needed, and may adjust your medication dosing depending on how well you are progressing with your weight loss goals.

After 6 months, we will also order a new lab draw to monitor your overall health and measure how much the treatment has been able to improve metabolic health including blood sugar levels and liver and kidney function.
