Best Candidates for EMSCULPT NEO

EMSCULPT NEO is best suited for men and women who are in good overall health, but need extra help defining a more toned physique. It can treat patients with a BMI of up to 35. That said, to get the most out of your EMSCULPT NEO results, we recommend getting within 15 to 30 pounds from your target weight before your first treatment. 

EMSCULPT NEO can reduce excess fat and increase muscle tone on many areas of the body, including your abdomen, buttocks, thighs, biceps and calves.

Who Is Not a Candidate for EMSCULPT NEO?

EMSCULPT NEO may not be right for everyone. If you have a pacemaker, defibrillator, metal implants or are pregnant, EMSCULPT NEO is not recommended.

EMSCULPT NEO vs. CoolSculpting

CoolSculpting, on the other hand, uses a process called cryolipolysis to nonsurgically target and eliminate excess fat in almost any area of the body, helping you to achieve a slimmer look. CoolSculpting, however, does not achieve muscle tightening.

EMSCULPT NEO 360°

Many people are looking to tone and tighten multiple areas of their bodies at the same time. For this, we recommend what’s sometimes referred to as 3D body sculpting, or EMSCULPT NEO 360°. At SpaVie, we offer two targeted EMSCULPT NEO treatments for 360° body sculpting:

• EMSCULPT NEO Abs 360°. This treatment uses large applicators for the abdominal core, along with edge applicators for the flanks to sculpt the entire midsection.
• EMSCULPT NEO Arms 360°. This treatment uses the smaller EMSCULPT NEO applicators on both the biceps and triceps.

Treatments for Abs 360° or Arms 360° are completed at the same appointment visit. Special package pricing is available. Appointments last approximately 90 minutes, and you can carry on with your regular activities without downtime once you leave the office.

What to Expect at Your EMSCULPT Appointment

Single EMSCULPT NEO treatments typically take about 30 minutes per session. We recommend a series of at least 4 sessions, each scheduled about 5 to 10 days apart for optimal results. During your treatment, you can lie down and relax. You will feel your muscles contracting, but this should not be painful. Many of our patients liken it to the “burn” sensation you get during a deep muscle workout. 

While you might start to notice tangible results immediately after your EMSCULPT appointment, it typically takes at least 90 days after the final session to see optimal results.

What to Expect After EMSCULPT NEO

One of the biggest benefits of EMSCULPT NEO is that it requires absolutely no downtime. Since the treatment is completely noninvasive, you can resume your everyday activities immediately after your session. Unlike surgical body contouring procedures, there are no incisions, anesthesia or recovery periods to worry about. Some people experience mild muscle soreness similar to what you might feel after an intense workout, but this typically resolves within a day or two.

EMSCULPT NEO Results

EMSCULPT NEO results can start to appear immediately after treatment, with full results developing over the next 3 months. Since the procedure works by strengthening muscles and reducing fat cells, your new toned appearance should last as long as you maintain a stable weight and active lifestyle.

Fat cells treated with EMSCULPT NEO are eliminated and do not return. However, remaining fat cells can expand if you gain weight in the future. To maintain your sculpted look, regular exercise, a healthy diet and periodic maintenance treatments are recommended.
